This measure is critical to monitoring the ridership levels of the Community Shuttle program throughout the five routes in the City of Fort Lauderdale. Community Shuttle funding is provided by Broward County Transit is dependent upon the City meeting minimum ridership levels.

This measure is calculated by dividing the total number of riders per hour by the total number of routes.

The target was established in alignment with Broward County’s Surtax funding requirement of a minimum average ridership of 7.1 riders per hours.

This data for this measure is tracked and reported by the Transportation and Mobility Department's Community Shuttle Program.
